Hi guys! Here's a link to watch my book talk about the book Monarca: link
The social issues I addressed in the book talk of Monarca is the impact of human activity and how that can harm the world and the population of the monarch butterflies. I think a huge idea of incorporating this into the classroom is to take time to understand different point of views. Since we can’t usually see the harm we do to other beings as humans, looking at how our harm impacts the world and living beings from a different perspective can be extremely eye opening! I think it’s a smart way to look at human impact on the world from another being because it shows us that we aren’t the only ones on this world and we aren’t the only ones being impacted by our human actions!
I’m thinking of making a zine for this text/topic, I think that would be nice!
